OWLS-II Evaluation Report Template

The OWLS-II is a comprehensive language test used to evaluate a variety of linguistic structures. the Listening Comprehension and Oral Expression Scales were administered. For the Listening Comprehension Scale the examiner reads a stimulus word, phrase, sentence, or paragraph aloud, and the student responds by indicating one of four pictures that best depicts the meaning of what was read to them. For the Oral Expression Scale, the examinee answers questions, finishes sentences, and generates sentences in response to visual and oral prompts. Scores are presented in the table below and results are discussed in the Receptive Language and Expressive Language Sections below.
